Self management is one of the tools of effective management. Very few other things can influence the effectiveness of managers so directly and profoundly as the personal working method of the individual manager. It is the key for discovering and using existing talents and it ensures that skills are turned into results, and therefore success. Neither one’s own personal working method nor that of one’s employees can be left to chance or go unchecked.
Important! The role model for personal working method should not be the “Workaholic”, but should be based on the motto: “Work smarter – not harder.”
