Management style refers to the different types and patterns of behaviour that executives exhibit during the fulfilment of their management tasks. However, in regards to the effectiveness of executives, the topic of management style is to a great extend irrelevant. There is no correlation between style and results: on one hand there are managers hat have a very cooperative and pleasant management style, but who only achieve limited results and on the other you have managers that have a very strict and authoritative management style and who achieve excellent results.
